Hello all, I’m Tobi!

I’ve been caring for a wide variety of animals since childhood. From chickens to donkeys, cats to ferrets, and just about everything in between. My passion for dogs began with my first dog, Theo. With his difficult background and behavioral quirks, I was eager to learn how to communicate with him on a deeper level.

That experience sparked my curiosity about dog training and behavior, and I soon found myself shadowing group classes and trainers to better understand how animals think and interact with us as people.

In the spring of 2024, I joined The Ministry of Dogs as a dog walker to explore working with animals professionally, and I quickly fell in love with it. After a wonderful year of learning and growing with the team, I officially took over ownership in October 2025.

When I’m not walking dogs or caring for cats, birds, and other beloved pets, you can often find me at Bailey Funeral Home, where I’m completing my apprenticeship to become a Licensed Funeral Director.

At home, I’m kept company by my two beautiful mixed mutts: Theo (Floppy Ears) and Finn (Pointy Ears).
